Vacancy - Synchronised Swimming Coach

Our rapidly developing developing synchronised swimming club, based in Tauranga, is searching for an experienced synchronised swimming coach to help us grow further and faster.

The role involves up to 20 hours coaching a week - generally on weekday evenings and Saturdays.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • synchronised swimming experience at a top level
  • synchronised swimming coaching experience - both with junior and senior swimmers
  • excellent communication skills
  • proven experience at relationship building with swimmers, parents and other coaches.

The role will be supported by other club coaches, and a motivated, professional committee. Remuneration will reflect the skills of the successful candidate.

This could suit someone who wants to gain practical experience as a coach at a junior level, or is retired from coaching and has a passion for helping in the community. Hours required would depend on the applicant's skills, attributes and the time they can offer. The club may be able to offer assistance towards transport costs. References and a police check will be required.
